My daughter plays (who is 12 yo) competitive softball. In her league, some adults made decisions about what level she could play at, that put her at a disadvantage (long story, but trust me here). She was disappointed, but continued to cheerfully play her best in all of her games and was a true leader on her team. Many of her friends & peers were given an unfair advantage, that allowed them to play in international competition. Despite this, not only did she continue to play cheerfully, not only did she never complain, she attended every one of their high level, international games and was without question the loudest, most supportive fan there. I am so proud of her and have so much to learn form her.
