Amazing things happen all the time. W.B. Yeats said, “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
Magic and miracles surround us constantly. And while it may be difficult to believe by watching the news; love, kindness and joy do, too. They are there, patiently waiting for us to see them. Waiting for our senses to grow sharp enough.

Every second, love happens.
As I write this, just four days after the election and the day before World Kindness Day; these United States feel very divided. There is anger and fear. And hate. So much more hate and fear than I knew was possible. And yet, every second, love happens. We know it’s true. But we forget. We get hurt. We get scared. This blog is meant to help us remember. When we take the time to really see the love, kindness and joy that surrounds us, it grows. And when we share it with others, it grows by infinite amounts. When love grows, fear and hate shrivel.
Martin Luther King, Jr said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Only light, only love can do that.
Be that light. Look for love and kindness and record it. Share it here for everyone to see and watch it grow so bright that love and light are seen and felt infinitely more than fear and hate.
